LaTasha D. Vines is the inspiring author of Victim to Victor, a powerful memoir detailing her transformative journey through HER2-positive breast cancer. As a survivor, she turned her experience into a mission—empowering others facing adversity with hope, resilience, and faith.
With over a decade of experience in mental health and her role as a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner, LaTasha brings a unique blend of medical expertise and compassionate insight to her writing. Her work goes beyond storytelling; it serves as a guide for those navigating the emotional and physical challenges of a cancer diagnosis and recovery.
Expanding on the impact of Victim to Victor, LaTasha has developed a series of companion works, including an educational workbook for newly diagnosed cancer patients, a 60-day devotional, a 28-day gratitude journal, and a self-care journal focused on mental and physical health. Through these resources, she provides practical tools to help others on their path to healing and empowerment.
LaTasha is also the founder of Cancer Buddies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by cancer through community, resources, and advocacy.
Passionate about advocacy, LaTasha speaks on topics related to patient empowerment, mental health, and self-care. Whether through her writing, speaking engagements, or one-on-one connections, she is dedicated to inspiring others to move from a place of fear to one of strength and victory.
When she’s not writing or working in healthcare, LaTasha enjoys traveling and spending time with her loved ones. She is currently planning her next adventure to Bangkok, Thailand.
